  • Do I need a driver’s license to rent an eBike?

    No, a driver’s license is not required. However, you must be at least 18 years old to rent an eBike. And 12 years old to embark on a guided tour

  • What is the process for formalizing the e-Bike rental?

    Rental agreement is to be signed by a customer and Tenerife e-Bike Tours.

  • Do i need pay a deposit?

    Yes, a deposit of 100€ is required to secure your e-bike rental. 20% of total value for tour booking.

  • Can I extend my rental period?

    Yes, you can extend your rental period, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.

  • What if I have never ridden an eBike before?

    No worries! We provide a quick orientation to get you comfortable with the eBike’s controls.

  • What is Tenerife eBike Tours all about?

    We offer e-bike rentals and guided tours on the beautiful island of Tenerife, providing you with an active, eco-friendly way to explore the island.

  • Where are you located?

    We don’t have a physical location, which allows us the flexibility to come to you! Our unique service delivers the e-bike right to your doorstep or meeting point, making it ultra-convenient for you to start your adventure.

  • How do I rent an e-bike?

    You can book online through our website or call us.

  • What’s included in my e-bike rental?

    Your rental includes the e-bike, a helmet, and a lock. Optional accessories are available for an additional fee

  • Do I need to bring my own helmet or other gear?

    Helmets are provided with all rentals, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

  • Is there a minimum rental period?

    Yes, the minimum rental period is 1 day or 12h.

  • How many e-bikes do you have available?

    We have 6 e-bikes available for rent. It’s best to book in advance, especially during peak tourist season.

  • What kinds of guided tours do you offer?

    We offer a range of tours including scenic coastlines, mountain adventures, and cultural landmarks.

  • How long are the guided tours?

    Our tours range from 3h-5h ride time. Whole experience takes from 6h-9h

  • Do I need to be an experienced cyclist to join a tour?

    No, our tours are designed to accommodate cyclists of all skill levels. Ranging from easy to more demanding ones.

  • What’s included in the price of a guided tour?

    The price includes transfers, personal insurance (accident and evacuation), e-bike rental, helmet, complementary water flask, guide.

  • Are your e-bikes well-maintained?

    Yes, all our e-bikes are regularly serviced to ensure they are in optimal condition.

  • What do I do if I encounter a problem with my e-bike during the rental period?

    Please call our emergency hotline, and we’ll assist you as soon as possible.

  • Do you provide training on how to use the e-bikes?

    Yes, we offer a quick tutorial before you set off, ensuring you’re comfortable with the e-bike controls and functionality.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept online payments prior to trip and cash or credit card.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    You can cancel up to 24h prior to the scheduled tour or rental day. See Terms and Conditions

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

    Yes, a deposit of 100€ is required to secure your e-bike rental or tour booking.

  • Do you offer group discounts?

    Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 4 people or more -10%

  • What is the start time for the tours?

    Our tours have a set starting time, which is the time of your pick-up. It’s usually 8:30am, but can be changed if a tour is private.

  • How do I check for tour availability and make reservations?

    You can check availability and make your tour and rental reservations online through our interactive calendar. We will ask for the names of all participants, contact details and their approximate heights, so we are able to set up each rider with the appropriate size of the bike. Tours are filled quickly, and reservations are strongly recommended.

  • How many riders I can expect in a group?

    For safety reasons and to have a better control of the group, the maximum we take on the tour is 6 riders.

  • Can I book as an individual?

    Yes, but we need a minimum of 2 people to run the tour.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit for tours?

    20% of total value for the tour booking.

  • What kinds of guided tours do you offer?

    Mountain adventures, loop routes and downhill rides. 

  • Is it appropriate to tip my guide?

    Gratuities are not included in our tour prices and are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. If you enjoyed your experience on tour, our guides will happily accept any tip for a job well done.

  • Are there any stops on the way?

    Yes, we will have several stops on each tour, giving the opportunity to have some snacks, drinks or to take photos.

  • Do you provide snacks and drinks?

    Each rider gets a complementary flask filled with water. Snacks are not provided; however, you can choose to buy some at the checkout. We will have them ready for you.
